Features of the production and calibration of reference hardness test blocks

This article provides information on the current production in Karaganda branch of RSE «KazStandard» reference hardness blocks, brief state blocks world and research conducted at this institute while improving manufacturing technology. Hardness test are designed to reproduce metals according standardized scales, for example, [1], [2], [3], [4]. Reference made accordance with [5] from carbon alloy steels, have a rectangular or round shape. law «On Ensuring Uniformity Measurements Republic Kazakhstan» calibrated. However, some cases, if necessary, user verifies them. Primary periodic verification measures is carried out by metrological service bodies accredited right verify measuring instruments. The calibration interval 2 years [6].
